Three Ways to get Your Sales Groove Back

Selling can be likened to asking a lady out on a date.

The manner of approach is important as well as the ability to humanize your interaction.

However, there are 3 important things to note during selling:

1. Research Your Sales Targets:

As a salesman, you have to be knowledgeable and research the person you want to sell to. You cannot be selling a motor engine oil to a pepper seller whose means of transport is walking. The more you know about the person, the easier it is to sell them the exact thing they need.

2. Learn how to handle objections:

Some folks will agree that the number of NO’s they have received when toasting a girl or making cold calls is more than the yeses. A few ladies will not wait for you to finish before they end the conversation and walk away. You will have to be persistent until you receive that one YES whenever rejections come your way.

3. Know how to Close Deals:

You need to show more empathy if you want to close much in sales. Beyond the problem that you solve, people want to feel empathy in your voice. Don’t try to force a sale!
